Ingredients
  • 1.5 kilogram of tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 piece of ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • Pepper
  • 1 spoon of chopped parsley
  • 1 spoonful of chopped chives
Instructions
  1. Scald the tomatoes to peel and deseed them.

  2. Cut them into pieces and sauté in a non-stick saucepan with a teaspoon of olive oil and the minced garlic cloves.

  3. Add the peeled and grated ginger (if you don’t have fresh ginger, use a spoonful of powdered ginger).

  4. Add two cups of water and soy sauce.

  5. Simmer covered on low heat for twenty minutes.

  6. Then process in a food processor to dissolve the tomato flesh.

  7. Season with pepper and sprinkle with chopped parsley and chives.
